Super-cute Thanksgiving Appetizer- Cut-veggie Turkey!

You all know I like to take the shortest route to a finished dish, so when a friend suggested a couple of years ago that we put together a veggie turkey platter, I have to admit, I was a little resistant.

Yet, after she pulled out all the veggies and we peeked at a few samples online, I couldn’t stop! It was so much fun putting it together and seeing the kids’ responses at the “unveiling”!

You’ll see ours was built from baby carrots, celery, broccoli, red, yellow and orange peppers and cauliflower, with a red leaf lettuce base (and black olive halves for the eyes).

Be sure to check out more images online to get some inspiration for your own veggie turkey.

This is a super-fun kid-friendly gluten-free recipe!
