As if it isn’t difficult enough as vegans to find a good “burger”- try finding one without gluten or soy in the ingredient list. It is almost impossible!

This cranberry relish gets requested every Thanksgiving. Even my rather “picky” brother-in-law gave it a try this year and asked for seconds! This is a lovely holiday side dish. Sweet potatoes are a traditional component of Thanksgiving meals (either baked or mashed) but here’s a new variation. The sweet potatoes are cubed, tossed in oil and then roasted before dried cranberries, walnuts, cinnamon and maple syrup are added. YUM. Please excuse the photo, it really doesn’t do the dish honor.
