Mountain Rose Herbs
Just got my first order from Mountain Rose Herbs. How did I not know about this company previously? It is an excellent source of quality (mostly organic) herbs, spices, teas, essential oils and other herbal products. And the prices are excellent, plus you get discounts based on the number of items you buy.
I’m sipping on a cup of one of their custom herbal tea blends right now. Can’t wait to finish it to try the some green rooibos. I’ve drank rooibos tea (otherwise known as “red tea”) for years and love it, but I hadn’t heard of green rooibos before. They also had bulk honeybush tea too- YUM! I think I’m well-stocked on tea now!
They have a lot of common herbs and spices and I stocked up on these, but they also lots of less common items. I got chia seeds, raw cacao powder and even ajwain seed (something I’ve learned you can add to beans to increase their digestibility, but I’d never seen it for sale before). I even got some dried organic mushrooms (shitake and reishi). I don’t even know how to use them, but they were such a good buy I figured I’d splurge and figure it out after they arrived.
