All the information we need to make it a reality in our lives

I read anything that is GFCFSF (gluten-free, casein-free, soy-free).  It was a bonus that another believing/homeschooling family was on this journey, so I went right to the website and soaked in all I could and bought the package with most of your cookbooks.

Even before I found your books, I was trying to find ways to eat more raw foods.  I would love to lose 30 pounds to feel better and I need to get off of the caffeine.

  • I have been making the Italian dressing, because it is so yummy and it goes with everything.  I use it as a salad dressing, but I also dip veggies in it.
  • Hummus: I love hummus.  I have made yours several times with different additions.  About a month ago, I took it to our “Mom’s Night Out” with our homeschool group and they loved it.  That time I added the tomato to it.
  • I’ve made a couple soups: Cream of Broccoli and Potato Chowder
  • Made the pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving to share.  Two people absolutely loved it.

I absolutely love all the practical advice on how to start and live eating “Whole” food.  I wish I could get my husband to eat more, because he has many of the same issues that your husband had.

Thank you for making these cookbooks so practical and easy to read.  You have taken us step by step through the process of getting started and all the information we need to make it a reality in our lives.

Thanks,

Denise L.

I really feel so whole and healthy

Dear Kim,

I just finished “30 days,” yesterday and I had to write to tell you how amazing I feel and how much my life has changed for the better. This morning my mom called and asked if I was in the mood for some bacon and eggs with melted cheese on top. I answered honestly, “No. Not at all.”  after a moment of stunned silence, she said, “I’ve got to get that book you’ve been talking about.”

I’ve been a lifelong yo-yo dieter before this but now I finally have a grasp on what works for me. My cravings for dairy and sugar and — drum roll — PASTA are gone!! Thank you so much. I haven’t finished all the recipes in the book yet, but as soon as I do I’m going to order the cookbook.

I do have one suggestion. I am so locked in to the daily pages that I wish there were a follow up journal that we could use to continue to be accountable and to continue to work on our goals.

Kim, I wish I could articulate how grateful I am for this book. Had anyone told me I wouldn’t say yes to bacon OR cheese in a heartbeat I would have called them crazy. Weight Watchers, Curves, Slim Fast, nothing ever did that for me before. I know that you would tell me to give the glory and honor to God, so I will!

Oh, on another note, we are lapsed Catholics who have now started attending Mass again and I personally have started to work on my relationship with Christ again.

Thank you a million times!!!

Warmest Regards and God Bless,

A later note from Dawn:

Hi Kim,

After seeing how changed I am, my mom asked me to order her a copy of the book and after I made her a glass of juice, she went out and bought a juicer for herself.

I also went ahead and ordered the cookbook. I’m going to use the 8 week menu plan you have on your website for the summer. I will tell you again, Kim, how grateful I am!! I’m going back through “30 Days” for a second round. I really feel so whole and healthy and you’re right — the symptoms I had learned to live with have started to disappear.

I can HARDLY WAIT for my cookbook to come!!

Warmest Regards and Gratitude and Blessings,   Dawn

Some Great Feedback on Kim’s 30 Day Book

“Thanks so much for the book.  It is practical and down to earth and we love the spiritual aspect of it.  We have struggled to follow the Hallelujah diet for years now despite educating ourselves as much as possible on it.  Perhaps due to personality type or lifestyle, but we are slowly gaining and working on it.  Thanks.”

“Got your book yesterday. . .– very comprehensive, organized, insightful and helpful. I am thinking of lending it to a gal in my church who is just starting on the program and who will be going through health minister training.”

“I have found all of your work to be helpful, encouraging and easy to implement . . .  Thank you for your ministry.  May the Lord richly bless you and your family as you continue to serve Him.”
